Held annually in June, this competition is open to all age groups to capture the essence of Hayfield in a painting created in the parish on the day.

£700 worth of prizes to be won in seven prize categories for children with first and second prizes of art materials; two senior artist categories - Young Artist of the Year prize for 18-25 year olds and 1st 2nd and 3rd prizes for artists over 25; Best Local Artist prize drawn from the two senior categories.

Register at St Matthew's Church Hall from 08:30 on the day. Return your completed work for display by 15:45. The public are admitted at 16:00 to vote for their favourite works and prizes are awarded in the Church at approximately 17:30.

It is a wonderful day out enjoyed by all.
